Akihisa Matsuno is Professor of Politics, Osaka School of International Public Policy (OSIPP), Osaka University. His works on East Timor are A History of East Timor towards Independence (in Japanese, Waseda University Press, 2002), ‘Truth Seeking in Peacebuilding - The Commission for Reception, Truth and Reconciliation in East Timor' (in Japanese, Hideaki Shiroyama et al. eds.
